Accelerating Social Change at the 2010 Clinton Global Initiative

Ashoka

Even the world’s foremost Social Entrepreneurs can use a hand articulating their value proposition to prospective investors.  Why not learn these skills from the business leaders who will help scale your system changing solutions?

At the 2010 Clinton Global Initiative, Ashoka and Microsoft hosted the NGO Executive Workshop to find out.  In peer groups lead by private sector partners, citizen sector leaders honed their value propositions and explored ways to better utilize technology to accelerate the growth of their ventures.

During our two days of participation at CGI, our team here at The Collaborative produced a documentary case study and subsequent micro-documentaries on-site. While this provided a firsthand account of the discussions and relationships that developed between participants, it also significantly raised Ashoka’s media impressions during the event to a level comparable to CGI itself.
