Mobile Technology Inventions in Rural India: The Case for Building Business-Social Bridges
Ashoka has continually been at the forefront of empowering the world’s leading Social Entrepreneurs to take their next big steps. What would happen if every Social Entrepreneur had access to the tools they need to scale their solutions?
When Ashoka realized the power of pairing their Fellows with leaders in the private sector, they wanted a way to articulate that impact. That’s where we came in.
The Collaborative produced this documentary case study exploring the relationship between Ashoka-Lemelson Fellow Hilmi Quraishi and Microsoft as they work together to bring ZMQ Software Systems’ mobile inventions to broader populations and exchange best practices. This video was produced entirely in ten days so it could be screened at the Ashoka-Lemelson Tech4Society Conference in Hyderabad, India.
